Owner of Introspect Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC, Jessica Albers, is a registered nurse with a professional career spanning 24 years. Featuring 15 years of medical forensic focused clinical experience, she has a proven record of providing expert care and testimony grounded in evidence-based, best-practice knowledge and expertise.

Credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Forensic Science and board-certification in sexual assault care of adult, adolescent and pediatric populations. Past nursing experience includes critical care, emergency nursing and nursing leadership at a critical access hospital.

A recognized expert in forensic nursing, she has been honored by the International Association of Forensic Nurses for Forensic Nursing Excellence and was a recipient of the 2021 National Sexual Violence Resource Center’s Visionary Voice Award.

In 2024, she was awarded the Virginia A. Lynch Pioneer Award in Forensic Nursing, the highest award the Association bestows to honor an individual who has made exceptional contributions to the field of Forensic Nursing.
